pro morphological freedom.i have xenomelia, also known as body integrity dysphoria or body integrity identity disorder. that means (going by one suspected etiology) that my brain's map of my body is messed up, so my right leg below the knee feels like it shouldn't be there. this roughly corresponds to an rkd (right knee disarticulation) or rtk (right through-knee) amputation – those acronyms include both straightforward knee disarticulation and modified through-knee amputations like mazet-hennessy.i think my condition is probably some intrinsic problem with my brain...but i think in an ideal world, anyone should be able to change their body however they want, no matter what. this is hard to talk about in an unideal world that currently has horrible coercive social pressure about everything, though. i still think people should have self-determination about their own body, and i will always support self-chosen body modifications over nonconsensual ones, even if we aren't in a perfect world where everyone is fully agentic and self-actualized.
